Edible Snowflakes-Tutorial

We've been studying snow and snowflakes for the last week or so and I decided in keeping with our snow theme to make the boys some edible snowflakes. I've made these before for Justin, but it was long ago and I am not sure he remembered them. They were a hit. They are very easy to make.
You need flour tortillas.
An oven set on 400 degrees
a cookie sheet
cooking spray
powdered sugar
some hungry kiddos!

warm your tortilla's in the microwave for a few seconds to make them pliable.
fold in half

fold again.
You can either stop here or fold again as shown below.
You do have to be careful because they do tend to break easily.

final fold

take a clean pair of scissors and make cuts along the sides
and ends just as you would a paper snowflake.

spray tortilla's with cooking spray.
Put into a 400 degree oven.

bake 4-5 minutes until they start to brown

sprinkle with confectioner's sugar and serve

NOTE: You can also use cinnamon and sugar instead of confectioner's sugar.
