Yesterday as many of you know we celebrated our 27th anniversary. My mom had called Wednesday night to see if we wanted to go to the Phillies game with them. They had two extra tickets that had been given to them. I told her no we could not get a sitter on such short notice.
Yesterday morning she called back and said that dad was not feeling well and would we like all four tickets!
So we spent the evening watching the Philadelphia Phillies play the Colorado Rockies at Citizens Bank Park! This was the first time Larry and I have been to a Phillies game in many years! (probably at least 20) and we had never been to the new ball park!
What a fun night! We even had VIP parking! We were in the Hall of Hero’s section and had great seats! The park is really nice and we enjoyed looking at all the baseball memorabilia.
Everyone who attended the game received a Phillies hat! What fun!
Justin took his baseball glove in hopes of catching a ball. He wore that glove the entire night! It did end up raining pretty heavily but we were sitting under the overhang and stayed dry for the entire game.
Sadly the Phillies lost but we had a fantastic time! Thanks Dad and Mom for a fun night out!

the school kids that sang the National Anthem! They did a great job!
Kaden wanted to see the Liberty Bell! Here is the neon version!
Kaden wore his ball cap for about 10 minutes!
