Dakkochi (Korean Skewered Chicken) & Roasted Peach Lemonade

Today I want to share two recipes I have recently found that our family just loves!

I’m sorry I have no pictures of the delectable yumminess that I have been whipping up in my kitchen. You will just have to visit the respective blogs to see pictures!

We love Korean food here and when I came across this recipe for Dakkochi (Korean Skewered Chicken) I knew I would have to make it! I love to grill in the summer and this was right up my alley! Can I just say OH. MY. GOODNESS. This was soooo good!!  The recipe was so easy to follow and you could make this up ahead freeze it and have it ready to stick on skewers and throw on the grill for an easy summer meal.  As an added bonus my boys think that any food put on pointy sticks is so fun to eat!

Yesterday I made this recipe for Roasted Peach Lemonade. Once again my reaction was  OH. MY.  Larry loves peaches and am determined this summer to make him all matter of peach recipes. He works so hard for our family and complains so little and I have been wanting to do something special for him.   This was a huge hit! It is so good and very refreshing! I am thinking of making it into popsicles! Yumm! I did substitute Country Time lemonade for fresh made!

Are you trying a new and fun recipes this summer? I’d love to hear what you have tried!
