A couple of great recipes! French Dip and Sweet and Sour Chicken

Hi! I have not been posting much lately other then reviews! I am slowing down just a bit on those and will be posting more out about our homeschooling and what we have been up to here.

Today I wanted to share a couple of recipes I have tried this that we so yummy!

I didn’t take pictures of either of these but I will share the links!

French Dip Sandwiches with au Jus

Can I just say OH MY! These are so good! I mean really good! The only changes I made were to substitute the beef broth with beef consomm√© and I did not have any creole mustard on hand so I used plain yellow mustard.   These were yummy the next day reheated along with the au Jus.  Next time I will be making a large batch and freezing them! Oh and do yourself a favor and butter and toast those rolls! YUM!

Sweet and Sour Chicken

Another keeper here! Again this was so yummy! I did not change a thing in this recipe, however I did cut the sugar to 1/2 a cup and the vinegar to 1/4 cup after reading the comments. It was perfect. I  think the next time I make the sauce I will add some red pepper flakes to add a little kick. If you like a lot of sauce you might want to double this recipe.

I love trying new recipes and this coming week I have a bread recipe I want to try and a wonton soup recipe too!
