My thoughts:

How Do We Know God is Really There? is a picture book from Apologia geared toward elementary-aged children age 6 and up.  This book delves into the topic of how we can know for sure of God’s existence. The story told by a father to his young son is very well done! Each evening Thomas and his dad head out to the backyard tree house for some great father and son time! They took turns telling each other about their day and sometimes they would get out the telescope and study their star map to determine which planet or stars they might want to study on that particular night.

One night after viewing Saturn’s rings though the telescope and talking about the amazing things God has made, Thomas asks his dad the question, how do we know that God is out there? His dad explains using science how God made everything and how He is out there, beyond space and time. He has always existed.

The boys and I enjoyed reading this story! Even Justin, my 11 year old enjoyed it! It is filled with wonderful illustrations. I love that the author uses science to explain God’s existence! How Do We know God is Really There is a wonderfully written story!  I loved that it is a story written about father and son and their spending  time together each day discussing the most important truths.
