About Whispers on the Dock:
Three sisters. A charming inn. Hints of mystery and romance. And a gorgeous seaside setting. Escape to Misty Harbor Inn.
As Nantucket reaches the pinnacle of its summer glory, and the Marris sisters welcome guests at Misty Harbor Inn, youngest sister Sam Carter enters her mother's cobbler recipe in the Summerfest baking contest. But she faces a formidable opponent, a past winner who is determined to keep her title even if it means stooping to dirty tactics. Can Sam's newfound faith help her rise above the fray and reach out to this lonely woman? Meanwhile, an elderly guest arrives who knows the inn's history, and the sisters are stunned to learn that their late mother lived there as a child. But she told them she'd never been to Nantucket until her honeymoon! Through the woman's reminiscences and photos, the sisters make an intriguing discovery --- not only about the mysterious Hannah Montague, the young woman who disappeared from the house in 1880, but also about their own family history.
Readers will delight in the inviting Nantucket setting and be enthralled by the adventures of these sisters who reunite to bring their mother's Misty Harbor dreams to life.

My Thoughts
Whispers on the Dock is the third book and final in the Post Cards from Misty Harbor series! If you missed my review on the first two books in this wonderful series you can find them here.  I find it amazing that four different writers can collaborate on one book and create such wonderful stories! It must be so much fun to plan out a story such as this one!  I really loved reading about the sisters: Sam, Caroline and Gracie. I found their relationships intriguing and genuine! Never having had sisters has caused me to wonder what it would be like if I did. (I come from a family of four brothers!) I loved that there was a mystery connected with the story involving a woman who had a connection with the inn in the past and had since disappeared. The sisters find there were some things about their mother that they did not know and the inn itself seems to hold some mystery with it’s hidden passages!
The beach setting was just wonderful! I love the beach and having just been at the beach here in NJ in the last week was just a perfect back drop for reading Whispers on the Dock! The story is fun and lighthearted while still having a sense of suspense and mystery to keep you wanting to finish the book! You can easily read this story as a stand alone but I really recommend that you get your hands on the other two books in the series! You won’t be sorry you did!
